Blackburn 1-2 West Brom: West Brom move five points away from the relegation zone while Blackburn remain nineteenth and the pressure forever mounts on Steve Kean. James Morrison gave the visitors the lead seven minutes into the second half. Scott Dann must have thought he'd rescued a point with his first Blackburn goal and their equaliser with eighteen minutes left. But Peter Odemwingie shattered all Blackburn hopes with the winner in the final minute of normal time.

Everton 1-1 Norwich: Grant Holt scored his third goal in two games after 28 minutes to give Norwich a surprise lead at Goodison Park. But Everton rescued a point through Leon Osman with nine minutes remaining. Norwich now sit ninth with Everton only four points ahead of the relegation zone, but still with that game in hand.

Fulham 2-0 Bolton: Two goals in two minutes was enough to kill Bolton and keep them rooted at the bottom of the table. Clint Dempsey put Fulham ahead just after the half hour mark before Bryan Ruiz doubled their lead just two minutes later. Fulham now sit eleventh, five points ahead of relegation.

Newcastle 0-0 Swansea: After their unbeaten start to the season, Newcastle have now failed to win a game in five. Swansea were the latest team to prevent Newcastle from winning and they also sit five points ahead from relegation. Newcastle do move up to sixth with Liverpool a point a behind and playing tomorrow.

Wolves 1-2 Stoke: Wolves did take the lead after seventeen minutes when Jonathan Woodgate fouled Matthew Jarvis in the box, Stephen Hunt converted the following penalty and Woodgate was substituted two minutes later before he was sent off. A well worked free-kick gave Stoke the equaliser, Jonathan Walters played it short to Robert Huth, the German fired the ball and it deflected off Kevin Doyle into the net thirteen minutes into the second half. Peter Crouch then won the game for Stoke with twenty minutes left to keep them eighth, two points behind Liverpool, Wolves are just one point ahead of the relegation zone.

Wigan 1-1 Chelsea: Wigan are now just one point behind Wolves in the relegation zone after securing a calamitous points against Chelsea. Daniel Sturridge gave Chelsea the lead fourteen minutes into the second half. The game looked won until a poor goalkeeping and defensive error allowed Jordi Gomez to strike the ball home from short range with only two minutes remaining to earn the point.
