Lampard also had a penalty saved by Sorensen before Malouda gave Ancelotti's team a half-time lead after 32 minutes. The tea time kick-off saw Manchester United host struggling West Ham in a contest that looked to only have one winner. A first half penalty from Wayne Rooney secured the half-time lead in front of the watching Fabio Capello. A solo goal from Nani and a team goal capped off by Berbatov finalised the 3-0 victory for Manchester United.
