Gary Anderson 9-3 David Dodds (q): Gary Anderson kicked the night off with a fantastic nine darter in the third leg. He followed that up with finishes of 128, 100 and 115 in an emphatic victory.
Roland Scholten 9-7 Phil Taylor: Despite going 3-0 ahead, Scholten came back to level the game at 6-6. Taylor then secured a 101 check-out to retake the lead and managed to hold onto the tight fought victory.
Raymond Van Barneveld 9-3 Jelle Klaasen: The smiling Barney cruised into the last 32. He took out 100 in the ninth leg before 110 in the 11th.
James Wade 5-9 Colin Lloyd: After almost losing yesterday, the reigning champion is now out. Lloyd started the match with a ton check-out. Wade responded with a 170 to make it 3-2 to Jaws and then levelled the match at 5-5 with a 160. But Lloyd fired four legs on the spin to win the match.
