This time last year Stevenage Borough were celebrating the fact they had just earned promotion into the Football League for the first time in their history. This year that accolade went to AFC Wimbledon who formed via disgruntled fans when the original Wimbledon moved and became MK Dons. But Wimbledon have made their way up and earned themselves a place in next year's League Two after beating Luton in the Blue Square Premier playoff final.
Yesterday saw the League Two playoff final between Stevenage and Torquay at Old Trafford. John Mousinho scored the only goal of the game four minutes before half-time to earn Stevenage back-to-back promotions into the NPower League One.
