Four Out Of Five

Although Formula 1 hasn't lost its drama, the results are becoming a little predictable as Vettel stormed to his fourth win out of five already this season. Pole sitter Webber got off to a bad start with Alonso managing to take the lead from fourth and Vettel went second. Button also had an awful start and fell to tenth, Kobayashi also suffered a puncture but carried on after the pit stop but his race was already belittled.

The first set of pit stops occurred around lap ten. Vettel blinked first and it looked to have been the wrong move after coming back out into ninth but he immediately over-took Button and Massa into seventh. Lap eleven saw Alonso pit and come out in third. Hamilton pitted on lap twelve and he also managed to re-enter in third place with Webber behind him in fourth, leaving Vettel with the lead.

Webber and Alonso pitted for a third time on lap thirty and almost came together in the pit lane. But Alonso benefited and managed to come out in third ahead of Webber. Webber looked to over-take Alonso but Alonso was quick to return the favour on lap thirty-five. The squabbling cost them both as Button joined in and over-took the pair of them to get into third and head for an unlikely podium.

Liuzzi retired quite soon in the race but the only 'crash' saw Kovalainen head into the tyre wall on lap fifty-one. Massa also retired ten laps later with some sort of mechanical failure. Hamilton tried his hardest to beat Vettel but the German held on to take his fourth chequered flag. Results in full:
