Red Bull Dominate Turkey

Another race, another win for Vettel. He makes it three wins from four but behind him was a lot of drama. From the start Rosberg over-took Webber into second and Hamilton fell back to sixth. Only twenty-three drivers started the race though as Glock had a gear-box problem.

Lap three saw Schumacher defend too hard and ended up clipping into Petrov which resulted in Schumacher damaging his front wing. Two laps later, Webber regained second place as he over-took Rosberg. Laps six and seven saw a great battle between the two McLarens as Hamilton initially over-took Button before Button retaliated a lap later. Lap seven also saw Alonso over-take Rosberg into third while his teammate Massa had climbed to seventh. The Brazilian then went one better as he over-took Hamilton for sixth place before they both pitted, Hamilton was quickest but Massa was fed into the Pit Lane and nearly collided with Hamilton but the Ferrari was able to heed and let Hamilton through.

Lap fourteen then saw Hamilton over-take Rosberg into fourth before Massa tried it four laps later but Rosberg was able to regain the fifth place. Lap twenty-one to twenty-two saw Massa and Button then over-take the slowish Mercedes to see Massa fourth, Button fifth and Rosberg sixth. Two laps later Button then over-took Massa before the Ferrari pitted just as Alonso was finishing his pit-stop.

Lap twenty-nine saw Alonso make a big move on Webber into second place and Massa over-took Button who decided on a three stop strategy compared to mostly every one's four stop strategy. Lap forty-six saw the only retirement of the race in the shape of Paul Di Resta for Force India. Button's strategy was beginning to show the flaws as Hamilton made it into fourth after lap fifty. Two laps later saw Webber get revenge over Alonso and secure the second place for a Red Bull one-two. Lap fifty-five saw Rosberg take advantage of Button's lacking car to take fifth.
