2011/2012 Barclay's Premiership Predictions: Wigan

Transfers In: Jones (Wolves, free), Al-Habsi (Bolton, £4.43M)
Overview: Wigan only just stayed up last season and will be another relegation battle if they are not careful. Al-Habsi played well last season on loan and Jones played well for Wolves. It will be a tough season especially without N'Zogbia but if Whelan gives Martinez time, Wigan can improve.
Euro 2012/Stars of the Future: No Euro 2012 candidates but Ireland's James McCarthy and Conor Sammon impressed in stints along with Ben Watson so they could have bright futures ahead of them.
One's to Watch: Al-Habsi is an under-rated keeper but will go about his business quietly. Rodallega needs to start becoming more consistent if he's to prove how good a player he really is.
Prediction: If one of the three promoted sides do stay then Wigan could be the team to fall. But I think they will just stay up ahead of the promoted teams.
