Transfers In: Woodgate (Spurs, free)
Overview: Stoke are in Europe this year, as long as win the final play-off round. This may be a distraction which could see Stoke suffer, but Pulis will make sure they keep in check. It'll be hard for Stoke emulate last season but will battle hard in the mid-table.
Euro 2012/Stars of the Future: It may be a bit late for Pennant to rekindle an England career but has looked good since his return to England. But Shawcross has been inspirational in defence alongside Huth, both of whom have a lot of years left.
One's to Watch: The defensive partnership for sure. Begovic played well in goal last season so keep an eye out again.
Prediction: Another mid-table team in that huge cluster. May finish tenth.
