Overview: The beaten Charity Shield side looked in decent nick, especially when they were 2-0 ahead. City have done fantastic business by bringing Aguero in and if Tevez stays, they could be a great partnership. They will challenge for the title this season but more realistically, City may break the stronghold of United and Chelsea as the top two.
Euro 2012/Stars of the Future: Hart, Richards, Lescott, Barry and Milner have all held certain England places. Wright-Phillips will leave this summer and needs to if he's to rekindle his best form. Johnson should stake a claim in the England team. Savic is set to be a future star and Silva is continuing to make big waves.
One's To Watch: We have to watch the farce that is Balotelli. He is an walking ASBO and could City dear in a number of games. Johnson, Silva and Aguero are the must watches.
Prediction: Second or third, either breaking United and Chelsea or falling just behind again.
