2011/2012 Barclay's Premiership Predictions: Bolton

Transfers In: Mears (Burnley), Eagles (Burnley), Reo-Coker (Aston Villa, free), Pratley (Swansea).
Overview: Bolton have had a positive pre-season but have been dealt a few blows. Holden is just returning from a broken leg suffered against Man United last year, but both Lee and new boy Mears have suffered broken legs and will miss much of this season. Reo-Coker and Eagles will bring Premiership experience with them as will Pratley so good business done by Owen Coyle. If they can keep hold of Cahill they also benefit strongly and have also hinted at wanting to bring Sturridge back to the Reebok.
Euro 2012/Stars of the Future: Kevin Davies has been involved in Capello's set up and will look to continue for 2012. Cahill will certainly be on the radar in years to come if he keeps growing his reputation.
One's To Watch: It will be interesting to see how Eagles and Reo-Coker fit into Owen Coyle's mid-field whereas Pratley will partner Davies up front. If Holden makes a happy return then keep your eyes peeled for that.
Prediction: Because the league is going to be so tight this season, I think Bolton will be in the mix for a mid-table place. But I fear they may be ones to lose out and sit just in the bottom half of the league.
