2011/2012 Barclay's Premiership Predictions: Newcastle

Transfers In: Obertan (Man U, £3.3M), Marveaux (Rennes, Free), Ba (West Ham), Cabaye (Lille, £6M)
Overview: Newcastle have lost a key player in Kevin Nolan, again due to Mike Ashley's incompetence. The rift with Barton may also produce a negative effect within the team but it seems that Barton is currently staying. Ba could be a good replacement for Carroll and Obertan will provide youth and pace. It's going to be a tough season for Newcastle as they battle in the mid-table.
Euro 2012/Stars of the Future: Probably have no Euro 2012 candidates. But James Perch, Dan Gosling and Nile Ranger seem to be good prospects. Krul also had a good season last season when he played.
One's To Watch: Steven Taylor has provided a few goals from defence and could be Newcastle's next biggest player. Ba impressed at West Ham and should do the same up north.
Prediction: There's so many teams fighting for the top half of the table. Newcastle should just about manage it but they need the team working together.
