Group G Preview

This group looks like any two of three will progress with minnows North Korea dwindling at the bottom of the group. However everyone will be reminded of Pak Do-Ik whose goal took Italy out of the World Cup in 1966, so maybe North Korea could have a say in who goes through this group. Another omen for England which journalists love to seek out is that the last time North Korea was in a World Cup Finals in was in 1966.

I think World no.1 and Confederations Cup champions Brazil will win this one thanks to the help of Robinho and Kaka and Julio Cesar in goal. But it's not going to be easy as the Ivory Coast have been an up-and-coming nation and obviously pose a threat with Drogba if he plays. However I think Ivory Coast will finish 3rd as Portugal will take second as the stage is set for a certain Cristiano Ronaldo to stake his claim to be the World's best player.
