This game was all over after six minutes, after an inch perfect corner was met by Gabriel Heinze who headed the ball home powerfully from twelve yards. At this point everyone must have thought the Argentinians have arrived and they are in the mood to party. Sadly that failed to materialise as the game petered out to finish 1-0.
As predicted Nigeria did get chances throughout the match especially when they brought both Odemwingie and martins who should have started in my opinion. Messi seemed quiet but still managed to produce moments of greatness weaving between defenders and playing good passes. the pick of the players had to Vincent Enyeama who did have produce some decent saves but still i think Argentina could have played a lot better and could have easily produced a rout against this Nigerian side.
